‘Thanks for helping out,’ Drew said as Harriet and Grace settled behind the counter. Both had agreed to manage the café for the day and Drew was under strict instructions from Harriet to not rush back and to enjoy the trip. She certainly planned to do that. Nervous anticipation made her feel jittery and her breathing was short and shallow. The thought of sitting on the back of a motorbike filled her with thrill and dread in equal measure. She trusted Faith implicitly, but it was the idea of sitting on the vibrating machine clamped to the woman of her dreams that caused her a problem. Just the thought of it sent shivers of desire through her. And then she turned towards the opening door of the café and her stomach somersaulted. Faith appeared in the same black leather trousers and jacket she had arrived in. She was carrying another leather jacket and approached holding it out to Drew.

‘It should fit,’ Faith said and smiled.

Drew felt her insides dissolve. ‘Thanks.’ She put on the old jacket and the scent of Faith overwhelmed her. When she turned to Harriet her cheeks were flushed, her eyes glazed with lust.

‘Very hot,’ Grace said, with a teasing smile and received an elbow in the ribs from Harriet.

‘Have a fab day,’ Harriet added.

Faith nodded and smiled at the two women behind the counter. Finding her voice, ‘Thanks,’ she said.

Drew followed Faith out the door and stood at the side of the red Ducati unsure of what to do next. Faith handed over a helmet and Drew squeezed it onto her head. Damn that’s tight! Oh my God, Faith’s perfume was everywhere. She fiddled with the chin straps, struggling to connect the two ends. When Faith reached out and took over, the sensation of Faith’s fingers at her throat caused her breath to stall. She watched Faith studying the clip, immobilised.

‘There,’ Faith said, connecting the clasp. She picked up her own helmet and secured it then turned to Drew.

Drew gasped at the green-eyes locked onto hers, revealing the masked smile.

Faith seemed to hold her gaze and then nodded her head as if to say, are you ready? Then she slung her leg over the machine and settled into the seat. She turned the ignition and revved the engine then left it idling. She motioned to Drew to get on the bike and indicated to the peddles.

Drew climbed on the back her knees raised and pressed tightly to the sides of the bike, and tensed. Her preconceived thoughts about sitting on the back of the vibrating machine, up close and personal, became reality in a moment of excruciating bliss that resulted in a groan escaping her.

Faith tilted the bike to one side and Drew grabbed at her waist. She released the stand and turned to Drew. ‘You ready,’ she shouted.

Drew nodded and Faith turned to face the road. She squeezed the lever, flicked the gear into first and eased the bike forward. Drew clung on despite the fact that she could walk faster than the bike was moving.
